We're currently improving water pipes by replacing old lead pipework.
If your building offers services to children, and your water supply pipe is made of lead, you are eligible to have it replaced for free – but you need to get in touch to get booked in.
This work is fully funded by Essex & Suffolk Water.
The water pipe that connects your property to the water main in the public highway is owned by you, or your landlord. If your building was built before 1970 there is a good chance your water supply pipes are made of lead. For a limited time, we are replacing lead pipework running into properties for free*. There is no charge to you, but you need to get in touch to book an initial survey.
