Every Flush Counts
Sometimes people put things down the loo or in the sink that can cause their drains to get blocked.

It’s hard to know what to put where but there are lots of way in which we can help.

You might not know this, but oil, fat and grease should always be put in a bin, not down the sink. Greasy liquid hardens as it cools down and can block your drain, causing a nasty smell. Scrape your plates and pans into a bin before rinsing them.

Items that claim to be ‘flushable’ such as wet wipes can also block your drains, it’s best to always put these in the bin, along with nappies, cotton buds and other bathroom waste.

Pop bathroom waste into a bin and you can save yourself the time, cost and experience of clearing a blocked drain because every flush counts.
